Color Inspirations

Vor kurzem habe ich mir das Buch “Polymer Clay Color Inspirations” von Lindly Haunani und Maggie Maggio gekauft und  ich bin total begeistert. Nun will ich mir ein Kistchen mit Farbtafeln, Mischrezepten usw.  zusammenstellen. Bisher habe ich meine Farben immer so Pi mal Daumen zusammengemischt, nachher wusste ich dann natürlich das Rezept nichtmehr. Das soll sich jetzt endlich ändern und im Buch sind soviel Anregungen, dass es ein Vergnügen wird, mit den Farben herumzuspielen. Als erstes habe ich Farbstreifen gemacht, darauf ist die Farbe wie sie aus der Packung kommt und mit Weiss gemischt, im Verhältnis 3:1, 1:1 und 1:3.

Lately I bought the book ‘Polymer Clay Color Inspirations’ by Lindly Hounani and Maggie Maggio and I’m absolutely delighted. Now, I want to assemble a box with color charts, color mixing receipts etc.. So far, I mixed my colors off the top of one’s head, after this I couldn’t remember the receipt, of course. This should get changed  and in the book are so many suggestions, this will be a pleasure to play with the colors. First I made color stripes, on these are the package colors and the colors mixed with white, in relations 1:3, 1:1, 3:1.

Ich habe dann versucht, die Farbstreifen anhand der Grautöne von dunkel nach hell zu ordnen. Ich hab mich vorrangig nach den Originalfarben gerichtet. Es ist zwar nicht ganz genau aber es ist eine Orientierung. Ich habe hauptsächlich Fimo Classic dazu genommen, FS bedeutet Fimo Soft.

Then, I tried to sort the color stripes by their grey shades from dark to bright. Primarily, I aligned it by the package colors. It’s not very exactly but it’s an orientation. Generally, I used Fimo Classic colors, FS means Fimo Soft.
